World Issues

ETFO and its members recognize that that poverty and development issues are the responsibility of all the world’s citizens and that it is a moral imperative that all members of the global community act to alleviate human suffering wherever it exists.

The federation and its members support many organizations in their disaster relief and development efforts through donations and the ETFO Humanity Fund. Many members take direct action through participation in Project Overseas, a CTF initiative to give professional assistance to fellow teachers in developing countries.
