2010 CTF Women's Issues Symposium ETFO Provincial Office - Feb. 9-10, 2010
Every year, the Canadian Teachers’ Federation holds a women’s issues symposium which is hosted by one of its Member organizations.
The symposium aims to gather women teacher leaders from across the country to study a particular theme or issue which will strengthen the status of women and improve the situation for women within the teaching profession and the broader societal context.
The 2010 Women's Issues Symposium was hosted by ETFO. The theme was "Advancing Women's Rights...Next Steps." Speakers at the symposium included Marina Nemat, Rebeca Sevilla and a cross-Canadian panel of women leaders in education.
