Playing is Learning

Principal’s Qualification Program (PQP) - Summer 2011 Courses

Social Justice Conference for Men - May 16-17, 2011

This conference will address a number of different social justice and equity issues geared towards male members.

Women's Collective Bargaining Conference - May 12-13, 2011
Women who attend this conference will be participating in collective bargaining activities designed to build new skills and enhance existing skills. This dynamic conference is beneficial for women who wish to learn more about bargaining, and build personal and professional skills. No experience is required. Don't Let Asphalt Fumes Ruin the School Day

Sometimes, the working conditions in our schools can be hazardous to our health. Dust and fumes from construction work can make it difficult to breathe.
This flyer outlines some of the risks of exposure to dust and fumes. Steps for preventing or dealing with the risk of exposure to hazardous materials are described.

Workplace Violence: Report It. Every Time it Happens!
Workplace violence continues to be a leading health and safety concern in our schools. The new legislation on workplace violence describes our rights to be protected from workplace violence. Every time a member reports workplace violence, they access their right to be protected.
