Classroom Management that Works for the Occasional TeacherRevised for 2014The program offers quality professional development in partnership with ETFO Occasional Teacher locals across the province. Occasional teacher locals can access the workshop series on a first come, first served basis.The revised classroom management for the occasional teacher workshop series continues to include a variety of strategies and activities that deal with issues critical to occasional teachers and their work, both as LTO teachers and other specific assignments such as special education, core French, and daily work. The program has expanded its format to a two-part series with a greater emphasis on reflective practice and teacher professional judgment.The workshop series provides occasional teacher locals an opportunity to access effective classroom management strategies based on the ETFO resource – I am the Teacher: Effective Classroom Management for the Occasional Teacher. Teachers receive practical classroom-tested strategies as well as networking opportunities with other occasional teachers. A cadre of experienced occasional teachers presents the workshop on behalf of ETFO. The goals of the series are to:
Participants will engage in dynamic workshop training that will highlight the strategies introduced in the book in relation to their practice. Each participant will receive a copy of the resource: I am the Teacher: Effective Classroom Management for the Occasional Teacher for a registration fee of $10.00.

A second e-mail will confirm the workshop details, the name of the presenter, and the necessary information needed to contact the presenter. Once all of the details have been confirmed, the provincial office will send an advertisement flyer to the local.
