Information and Communication Technology for Women http://www.etfo.ca/AboutETFO/Calendar/Lists/ETFO Calendar2/DispForm.aspx?ID=4016Information and Communication Technology for Women 2018-06-01T13:30:00ZToronto Marriott Bloor and OISE at U of TETFO’s ICT Conference for Women Technology for Teachers will take place at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel and OISE/UT on June 1-2, 2018. The target audience is women members interested in learning about new technology and online resources to engage today’s students. Friday will include presentations of technology projects from across the province. Saturday workshops will provide hands-on opportunities to learn more about iPads, Google Drive, Coding, Edu-Break and various online resources. This conference will be an exciting learning and networking opportunity open to women ETFO members. Participation is limited and participants will be selected by a random draw with preference going to first time attendees and members who have not attended another provincial conference in the 2017-2018 school year.Registration is closed. This week-long course (Sunday, July 15 to Friday, July 20, 2018) is designed for women who are already involved in leadership at the local level. Participants are usually graduates of Leaders for Tomorrow or Union School, members of their local executives, participate on local and/or provincial standing committees. The course focuses on leadership planning, leadership styles, feminism and unions, work-life balance and community building.Registration is closed. Accessibility needs?
