Project Overseas is a program of the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) under which teachers from across Canada work with co-tutors in host countries delivering professional development workshops to teachers in those host countries. The projects last between three and five weeks and occur during the summer, most often during July. ETFO sponsors fourteen participants. All expenses are paid by CTF and the affiliated federations, and the participants volunteer their time. The projects to which volunteers are sent are determined by the teacher federations in the host countries. Successful applicants are assigned to projects based on the skills they bring and the needs of the projects. Applicants cannot choose where they will be sent. We won’t know until after participants are selected what the projects will be. This summer ETFO members will travel to Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad, Saint Vincent, Dominica, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Uganda. All applicants must
