The process is simple, convenient and secure. It’s a great alternative to cheques, with no costs to the members. e-Transfer FAQs 1. What is e-Transfer? It is a service that will allow ETFO to email transfer expense reimbursements to our members. Our bank, RBC, has summarized the service as follows:
2. How do I sign up for the e-Transfer service? Please go to https://events.etfo.org/upcoming-events/ and log on to EMS. Click on the “Sign up for Interac e-Transfer payment service” event link. You will be asked to confirm your email address and provide authorization to allow ETFO to process all future payments through e-Transfer. You will receive an email confirmation once you are set up on our system.3. How do I Cancel my e-Transfer Service? Changes to your email address or notice of cancellation should be emailed to email@example.com. You will receive a confirmation email once the request is processed. 4. Will I be Charged any fees for the e-Transfer? There will be no fees charged to the members for using the e-Transfer service. 5. How secure is the e-Transfer service? Interac e-Transfer uses several methods to ensure that your information is secure. Your email address log in and the e-Transfer security password are unique identifiers that only you know. As long as you don't share these with anyone, no one can sign in to your email account and claim the e-Transfer payment.
