Cover: Building Better SchoolsDuring the 2018 provincial election campaign, ETFO is working to ensure that important education issues are discussed and debated by the political parties, party candidates, and the public.

This Provincial Election page includes ETFO's updated election agenda that promotes policies to improve elementary education, a summary report of an ETFO public opinion poll on education issues conducted in January 2018, ETFO resources that promote information about the election, and links to the four main political parties.

Content will be added to the page as the political parties release their policies and platforms. It will also include the party responses to ETFO's election questionnaire.

The Building Better Schools plan has also been updated on the www.buildingbetterschools.ca site.

ETFO's Election Questionnaire

As part of its election activities, ETFO distributed a 10-question survey to the four main political parties. The ETFO election newsletter, distributed through the recent stewards’ mailing, provides the short versions to six of these questions. The party responses to the ETFO questionnaire posted below give members the opportunity to review the longer versions of the parties’ respective answers.

The Ontario Progressive Conservative Party failed to respond to the survey.
