May 30-31, 2013	ETFO office, Toronto	Effective Negotiating Skills for Women Leaders This workshop has been developed in partnership with the Stitt Feld Handy Group, an internationally renowned Canadian firm specializing in negotiation and dispute resolution training. Women who attend this workshop will be participating in an interactive format designed to build and enhance skills required in complex negotiations, mediation and dispute resolution. It also offers skill development in a variety of negotiation styles. This workshop is beneficial for women who are aspiring to leadership positions at the local level, particularly as chief negotiators. Involvement in and/or a commitment to become more involved in ETFO at the local level is a requirement for this workshop. May 31 - June 2, 2013	Kingbridge Centre, King City	Perils of Perfectionism: A Women’s program Do you sometimes feel that no matter how much you do or how hard you work that you are never "good enough"? If so this is the workshop for you! Date: May 31 (eve) - June 2 (am), 2013 Location: Kingbridge Centre, King City Registration is closed. October 17-19, 2013	ETFO Provincial Office	Leaders for Tomorrow This workshop is an intensive, year-long leadership development opportunity for women from designated groups. The program includes a variety of workshops and experiences related to leadership roles within ETFO and in the broader community. The course is designed to enhance leadership skills in an inclusive, anti-racist/anti-oppression framework. Release time will be provided for all members accepted. the stigma of being poor;
issues connected to family poverty;
self-esteem; and
literacy problems and what steps teachers can take to make a difference in their schools/classrooms.

Learning and Understanding: Cultural and Religious Differences

As part of a new equity workshop series, this workshop will explore the cultural and religious practices related to world religions that teachers must understand in order to provide safe learning environments for all of their students. The workshop will highlight the key components of world religions as well as work to dispel myths, stereotypes, and prejudices that are related to cultural and religious differences.
