The Workshop Presenter's Palette
This practical two-day workshop will provide an opportunity for members to develop skills in planning, and presenting dynamic and practical curriculum sessions to colleagues. Participants who are interested in leadership opportunities will find this program beneficial.
The workshop will be held at ETFO December 12 – 13, 2011, and will focus on developing a workshop presentation, creating a workshop description, exploring new and effective facilitation strategies, and providing engaging tips for presentations. The registration form outlines the requirements, accommodation, and selection process.

The Disability Connections Incentive Funding
This funding is designed for members to connect their students to the positive contributions that people with disabilities make and the impact they have on society. Funding can be used to take students to an event focusing on people with disabilities, or to bring people with disabilities into schools as speakers, artists, etc.

Working with Equity Seeking Groups Incentive Funding
This funding will support a limited number of locals who are interested in developing partnerships with community groups, specifically working on women’s equality issues.

Social Justice Begins With Me Kit
This is a brand new ETFO literature based resource for Early Years to Grade 8. This resource builds on the concepts originally introduced in "We're Erasing Prejudice for Good". This resource is available at shopETFO for $45 for the CD version, and $65 for the suitcase version.

ETFO Destination AQs
ETFO is pleased to offer an exciting option to our AQ course offerings – Destination AQs. Consider gaining an AQ qualification as you study in:
- France: French as a Second Language Parts 1, 2, and Specialist
- Greece: English as a Second Language Parts 1, 2, and Specialist
- Italy: Kindergarten Parts 1, 2, and Specialist
- Spain: Special Education Parts 1, 2, and Specialist
Offered in July 2012, these courses are comprised of 60 hours of online instruction with 40 hours of face-to-face instruction occurring in the destination country. Canadian Aboriginal Festival Education Day – November 17, 2011
The Festival runs from November 17–20, 2011. On Thursday, November 17, 2011, the Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto will become the world’s largest classroom when up to 6,000 students and teachers converge on the site for the Canadian Aboriginal Festival’s Education Day.
Students from Toronto and surrounding areas will have a number of options to choose from the 30 teaching stations in the coliseum ranging from heritage and culture, traditional games, dancing and more. Many of the teaching stations are participatory. The Registration form is available here.
All of the teachings are directly tied to the school curriculum for Native Studies through the use of teaching guides prepared by ETFO. Teachers attending with their classes are provided with printed materials, the teaching guides, and more to assist them in teaching Native Studies. For details, please visit www.canab.com.

The Energy of Change - Conquering Classism: From Charity to Justice Registration Package
This conference for women takes place on February 26 (evening) and February 27 in Toronto. The theme is Conquering Classism: From Charity to Justice.

Visions Program 2012 Registration Package
The Visions Program is an exciting, new, five month program for women in their first five years of ETFO membership.
