The target audience is members interested in exploring teacher leadership and their own leadership skills and potential.
Participants will complete the EQI Survey prior to the event and discussions at the institute will include the connections between emotional intelligence and being a leader.

The target audience is members interested in learning about new technology and online resources to engage today’s students. The conference includes keynote speaker, Steve Chapelle, who will highlight strategies to help students develop safe online practices.
Workshops will provide hands-on opportunities to learn more about SMART Boards, Ministry licensed software, iPads, and various online resources. This will be an exciting learning and networking opportunity for members from across the province.

The Reflections On Practice: A Women’s Leadership Institute, is a professional learning activity that provides 30 ETFO female members with the opportunity to learn about reflective inquiry, action research, professional activism, and leadership. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their research skills.
The institute is comprised of three sessions:

Session 2: October 24-25, 2013
Session 3: April 24-25, 2014
