Take Back the Night

Get Involved

Your local Status of Women Committee can help organize ETFO member’s participation in Take Back the Night activities in your community. Contact your local ETFO office about how you can participate in your local Take Back the Night activity, and encourage other woman members to do the same.

If there isn't a “Take Back The Night" march in your area, consider forming a coalition with other women’s groups to plan one. Information about this event is available from sexual assault centres and crisis centres across the province.

Events

While Take Back the Night activities are largely focused in the month of September, some individual events occur after September. If your community has not held a recent Take Back the Night event you may wish to contact the sexual assault centre in your community or your local ETFO office for any further Take Back the Night dates.
