The month of May is Canadian Jewish Heritage Month, as established by the federal government in 2018.

This year's poster, with artwork by Toronto artist Rosette Sund, celebrates Jewish culture, resilience, and contributions in Ontario and beyond.

The artwork is entitled From Generation to Generation, the English translation of the Hebrew phrase, “l'dor va’dor.” It symbolizes the layered nature of Jewish people – cultural, religious, and ancestral – and fundamental Jewish values that continue to be passed down through the generations.
