2SLGBTQ+ families are the fastest growing type of family structure in Canada. As ETFO members, we have the responsibility to ensure our classrooms and schools are welcoming places, and that 2SLGBTQ+ families see themselves reflected in the school environment and the curriculum.
The Welcoming 2SLGBTQ+ families brochure highlights a variety of ways that ETFO members can accomplish this, including curriculum links, resources, useful language, and communication tips.
